Miles of award-winning beaches are just a few steps from The Beach House. It never gets crowded. Walk in one direction towards the lighthouse and you come to the small village of Happisburgh with it’s beautiful church and local pub. Along the beach in the other direction are miles of golden sands with dunes and marram grasses. Further down the coast is Horsey Beach where you can get up close to seals and their pups.

Access to the beach is via a gate in the garden and down some steps to the sea wall. The wall is quite high and so small children must be accompanied. The beach can also be accessed via the ramp at Cart Gap just a few minutes walk away along the lane.

When swimming look out for the areas clear of old sea defences. The beach is dog-friendly where they can run free.
