Happisburgh Lighthouse is a 15 minute walk along a path through the wheat fields. With sea views to one side and a beautiful rural landscape to the other. The working light house is open to visitors (check opening times). Walk up the 96 steps to the lamp room to enjoy fabulous views of the coast.
The Broads
The Norfolk Broads are only minutes away. The best way to discover them is by boat and there’s plenty of places for you to hire a boat, a canoe or a paddle board. Stop off at pretty villages and market towns or enjoy a drink at one of the many pubs on the water.
Bickling Estate
Magnificent Jacobean Hall built in 1916 and now looked after by The National Trust. There are 55 acres of gardens with lakes temples, an orangery as well as secret gardens and tunnels. The beautiful market town of Aylsham is close by for a visit. From here you can catch the Bure Valley Railway.
Norwich
Norwich is a beautiful city to visit, with its old cobbled streets, theatres, bars, restaurants and cinemas. Also great for antique shopping and modern malls there’s something for everyone.
